Vow to myself for tonight -- eat light, eat before 6 and go to sleep early.
Stayed up late, eating food, dessert, getting my hair done, and reading. Today I am taking my sweet time getting into the office. Monday's kinda suck. My day will be starting with chemo related things, (no, not for me, for patients) which will me get behind in my day and probably not let me finish all that I need to. But later, I have something good to listen to and I can drown everyone out. Weee. And tomorrow I can play the fool.
But still....ugh.
And now....IT'S MASCARA TIME! Have a good day, sweetie. Talk to you soon.
I've also made some Vegas arrangements for April - as usual. It's time to play. Then we have Palm Springs in May. Something to look forward to. Yes, I have spring fever. Not too long after that school will be out. Oh no! Here we go again. At least we can say we've had a very successful school year.
Yesterday I went to the library to pick up my copy of "Atonement" on CD. I'm going to upload to my pod later tonight. I'm going to start it tomorrow at work. Yay! Also, I was going to get rid of my Sirius, but now with the merger possibly happening I'm interested to see what they have to offer. I'm hearing they may offer tiers like cable TV. Interesting.
Here is some Earth Hour info from Wikipedia. Anyone notice their Google page go black at 8 pm? I took a snapshot of it. Pretty cool. Here is an interesting article about adopting Earth Hour ethos. I didn't know I should unplug my phone charger from the outlet while not in use. We have a couple of them plugged in. Yikes. Finally, here's another article from The Chicago Tribune about a couple having their wedding reception during Earth Hour. I told my kids we should do this every day. They were against the idea.
Kitchen is clean, chicken's in the crock. After my cup of java....off to the beauty supply for some...beauty items. Lord knows I need all the help I can get.
My hubby is taking me out today. I'm like a fancy (or old) car, only to be taken out on Sunday afternoons. Hahaha. We're going to see "Juno" in a couple of hours and then we'll hit Borders. I know my husband can't wait for that. Anyway, the Oscars are coming soon so I really need to start seeing some of these movies. Think I can make it to "There Will Be Blood" tomorrow?
The daughter is complaining because I'm going out. Lovely.
Last night I watched a movie called "Bernard and Doris" with Ralph Fiennes and Susan Sarandon. It's about an heiress who dies and leaves everything to her gay Butler. Yes, the premise is quite amusing but the acting is spectacular.
No work for me tomorrow. Thank goodness. Have a wonderful Sunday.
