At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms;
Then the whining school boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like a bard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly and good capon lin'd.
With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well sav'd a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whisles in his sound. Last scene for all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

i don't know what some of those words mean, but they're beautiful nevertheless. :D
I'm not afraid of intimacy; I'm afraid to be hurt."I get bored with relationships right away. As soon as we know each other, and the newness vanishes, so does the excitement.""People don't want intimacy, they just want sex.""I'm afraid to let anyone know who I really am; if they really know they'd be horrified.""I don't believe in intimacy, I don't think it's possible. People are just too different.""Intimacy always makes me feel insecure and jealous. The deeper I feel about someone, the deeper the insecurity and jealousy, so I'd rather be casual and then I won't be hurt.""It's funny," said another one, "but I only seem to fight with and hurt the people with whom I'm intimate." "Everytime I form an intimate relationship, I always feel cheated. I know there must be more, and so I go around looking for it and ruin everything.""We all have tremendous needs, and they're all different needs. Trying to fulfill someone else's needs adds to complications in my life. I have problems enough."
Leo Buscaglia "Living, Loving & Learning"
Each path is only one of a million paths. Therefore, you must always keep in mind that a path is only a path. If you feel that you must not follow it, you need not stay with it under any circumstances. Any path is only a path. There is no affront to yourself or others in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you to do. But your decision to keep on the path or to leave it must be free of fear and ambition. I warn you: look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself and yourself alone one question. It is this: Does this path have a heart? All paths are the same. They lead nowhere. They are paths going through the brush or into the brush or under the brush. Does this path have a heart is the only question. If it does, then the path is good. If it doesn't, it is of no use.- "Teachings According to Don Juan." by Carlos Castaneda
Everybody has his own path. There are a thousand paths to discovering yourself, to becoming. Every one of you will find your own way. Don't let anybody impose theirs on you.
